Earlier employment details

For my August 2020–February 2021 Education Portfolio / WISE Team contract at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the agency was TEKsystems. The earlier résumé used the title “ITS – Manager / Architect and Former Sr. Software Engineer.” The online work history records Sr. QA Automation Engineer / SDET for this period; the formal contract title remains unreconciled. Responsibilities included collaborating with, mentoring, and training Quality Assurance Engineers, developing manual and automated test plans, and developing an extensible automation framework based on software engineering principles.

The November 2014–November 2016 Translation Support Team contract was through ESG, as Sr. Quality Assurance SDET. I implemented Java, C#, and Selenium automation for web and REST services, led the team's migration from JIRA to TFS, and mentored a junior intern in test-driven development and test engineering.

At SwipeClock (March 2013–October 2014), I led a SaaS time-and-attendance web solution, refactored a .NET website to N-tier architecture with changes supporting an SOA layer, and improved developer efficiency by trimming a production database of over 200 GB to 1.2 GB developer instances.

The earlier résumé summarized Academy Mortgage (February 2017–August 2020) as “ITS – Manager / Architect and Former Sr. Software Engineer.” It described leading DevOps and QA teams, previously managing Service Now, maintaining team budgets and reviewing major purchases, participating on the Architectural Review Board, mentoring Azure DevOps rollout and best practices, and helping train Product Owners and Scrum Masters during Agile adoption. The online work history retains the detailed role chronology.

The historical Engineering Manager record described mentoring, guiding, and supporting direct reports as a first-line HR manager; maintaining portfolio and ICS coding and usage standards, including code reviews; and supporting teams with hands-on senior software engineering.
