Connected applications
Systems and API Integration
Connecting applications, services, data, and identity to support reliable product delivery.
Systems and API Integration
I integrated Zendesk, our third-party help-center documentation and training platform, with internal services that provide custom role-based access. I also developed API integrations and services that connect applications and support product functionality. My broader experience includes Encompass data synchronization, enterprise API integrations, and application services built with C#/.NET.

I work with explicit API contracts, clear ownership, configuration, validation, and diagnostic visibility so integrations remain understandable and supportable as systems evolve.
Identity
I wired OAuth and OpenID Connect (OIDC) into my starter application using Okta. My shared application foundations also include authentication integration, and my QA framework provides isolated OAuth/OpenID Connect validation flows using Keycloak.

I consider identity and application boundaries together: how applications authenticate, where responsibilities belong, and how integration behavior can be validated.
Student Information Systems
I have growing experience with Student Information Systems (SIS), helping develop and support educational applications for students.
As an ICS (Information Communication Services) employee of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have a direct assignment supporting CES (Church Education Services) services and applications. My Global Education work includes BYU-Pathway and Seminaries and Institutes.
Integration Boundaries
My application starters demonstrate defensive API boundaries through same-origin proxying, payload validation, upstream restrictions, header filtering, payload limits, timeouts, safe errors, and trace correlation. My QA framework adds reusable API clients, schema validation, and diagnostic capture.
